THE WHITE HOUSE has shared a video of a 106-year-old dancing with President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle.

Impressed by her energy, Michelle told her: “I wanna be like you when I grow up.”

McLaurin, who was born in 1909, said: “I thought I would never live to get in the White House. And I tell you, I am so happy.”

She made a video plea to meet Obama just over a year ago.

Vibe reports that in 2014, at the age of 104, McLaurin was honored in Washington DC for volunteering 40 hours a week with students who have severe mental disabilities.
