Wait till the county manager gets his way and there’s only 1 fire appliance serving the whole area, waiting for back up from Donnybrook and Rathfarnham! Doesn’t bear thinking about really. 3 firefighters arriving to an apartment complex with 2 people trapped! Times are changing folks, great work by all involved last night and hopefully she’ll make a full recovery…

I was one of those people who had to be evacuated from the apartment. Thankfully my fiance Cian, our hearing dog Belle and our neighbours Tara and Jack helped saving our neighbour from the fire! Thanks to the firemen, ambulance men and also the garda for their helps too! This event proved how important neighbours are !
Only for Cian’s presence of mind, people may have lost their lives. He is a hero to us all. Thanks again, Lori.
