Two appear in court after 480 cannabis plants seized in Meath

The seizure was made at a growing operation in Lobinstown.

TWO MEN are appearing before a special sitting of Trim District Court this afternoon after a large number of cannabis plants were discovered at a house in Lobinstown in Co Meath.

The plants, with an estimated street value of €384,000 were found on Friday at a sophisticated growing and cultivating operation.

Two men aged 30 and 36 were arrested and were held at Kells Garda Station.
