1. #CLOSE CALL: A new report outlines how two Boeing 737 airplanes came within 807 metres of each other at Dublin Airport last March. The incident occured due to a blocked transmission.  

2. #MISSING: Gardaí have renewed their appeal for information in the search for a missing man. Diarmuid Twomey was last seen at 3am on Sunday, 20 December near Fairhill, Gurranabraher in Cork.

3. #COCAINE: Cocaine worth more than €770,000 has been seized from a haulage truck in Dublin Port. A 51-year-old man was arrested for drug trafficking offences.

4. #DRINK DRIVERS: Gardaí have already arrested 12 drink drivers today. They are urging anyone heading home for the Christmas not to drink drive.

5. #GREEN LIGHT: Santa is on his way. The Irish Aviation Authority has granted permission for a for multi-point landing for Santa’s sleigh.
