1. #WET WET WET An emergency meeting is being held in Government Buildings to discuss what action can be taken following widespread flooding across the country.

2. #CARE HOME RTÉ News reports that the legal team for Áras Attracta workers accused of assault have questioned whether the case should continue. This relates to concerns surrounding a hard drive containing video footage.

3. #WATER WATER EVERYWHERE Minister Alan Kelly has been criticised after saying that water charges have “gone off” the agenda. He claimed that housing and homelessness now take up half of his time.

4. #CARJACK A 24-year-old man has been arrested after a taxi was hijacked in Dublin. The driver had taken a fare on the Crumlin Road and while on the way, the passenger told the driver he had a gun.

5. #MISSING PERSON Police in London have found three bodies in the search for former EastEnders actor Sian Blake and her two children and partner.
