1. #NEW HOSPITAL: Planning permission has finally been granted for the new national children’s hospital, but not everyone is happy about the location: St James’s Hospital in Dublin.

2. #CONFIRMED: Employees of Intel Ireland will find out next week if their jobs are in jeopardy as management has confirmed that its Irish operations will be impacted by a massive global jobs cull.

3. #WATER CHARGES: Health Minister Leo Varadkar has said that Fianna Fáil’s relentless focus on water charges during the government formation talks was “ridiculous”. Needless to say, Fianna Fáil wasn’t too happy about this.

4. #APPEAL FOR INFORMATION: Police in Dungannon are appealing for information after a woman was sexually assaulted while walking her dog.

5. #REFUGEE CRISIS: Independent TD Mick Wallace broke down in tears while talking about the refugee crisis in the Dáil.
