1. #GARDAÍ: A new report by the Policing Authority has found that gardaí reported false checkpoints and that around 400,000 more breath tests were falsified than earlier reported.

2. #GENDER: A new report into gender equality at national broadcaster RTÉ has found that the organisation is ahead of the curve when it comes to equal rights and representation among males and females, but that top earning men outnumber women by two to one.

3. #ATTACK: Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed by a group of men wearing balaclavas.

4. #HARASSMENT: Film star Dustin Hoffman has been accused of sexually harassing a 17-year-old intern during the filming of the 1985 film Death of a Salesman.

5. #WESTMINSTER: In a move that has been described as a “step towards” direct rule, Westminster is to pass a budget for Northern Ireland.
