1. #MAHON: The long awaited final chapter of the Mahon Tribunal Report has been released, revealing that lobbyist Frank Dunlop bribed Dublin councillors thousands of pounds for rezoning land along the route of the M50.

2. #MAYO: A man has been arrested in connection with the murders of 10-year-old Eoghan Chada and his 5-year-old brother Ruairi who went missing from their home on Sunday night along with their father.

3. #PAT KENNY: Broadcaster Pat Kenny has confirmed that he is leaving RTÉ to join Newstalk, with plans to host a mid-morning show starting in September.

4. #ILLNESS: Minister of State Kathleen Lynch has been admitted to Letterkenny Hospital after taking ill while on a visit to the hospital to assess the damage done by recent flooding.

5. #WHAT THE FLIUICH: Speaking of the flash floods, there are more on the way with thundery downpours forecast for the next 24 hours. Those of you in the West are particularly at risk so get the wellies out – sorry folks!
