1. #HSE: A seven-year-old girl who was living with a Roma family in Dublin has been taken into the care of the HSE following a tip-off to gardaí. The girl is described as having blonde hair and blue eyes with the adults living in the property maintaining the girl was their daughter.

2. #PROTEST: Thousands of people have joined a demonstration by pensioners outside the Dáil today as part of a protest against a variety of cuts outlined in last week’s budget.

3. #POLITICIANS’ PAY: The Government has published new legislation that will cut an allowance received by politicians by 10 per cent and abolish severance payments to current and future ministers.

4. #CHILD SAFETY: Sensitive information about a young teenager who was found in a distressed state outside the GPO recently was accidentally sent to a member of the public along with a photograph.

5. #ONLINE: Facebook have defended a change in their policy that allows users to post graphic violent content to their site.
