1. #WHISTLEBLOWER: Pearse Doherty TD has told the Dáil about a new garda whistleblower who was allegedly targeted by management after he arrested another garda for drink driving.

2. #GOING TO COURT: Gerry Adams is taking legal action against two newspapers over what he says are false claims that he was briefed about the sexual abuse case against his brother.

3. #UPGRADE: Ireland looks set to be upgraded by ratings agency Moody’s in the next 24 hours. It will be the second upgrade in six months from the agency which has traditionally talked Ireland down.

4. #CHARITY: The majority of charities in Ireland have seen a drop in their income in recent months as a result of the scandals in the sector, a survey has found.

5. #9/11: Barack Obama has spoken at the dedication ceremony for the September 11 memorial museum in New York today, which is due to open to the public next week. You can see photos from the museum here.
