1. #GUERIN REPORT Alan Shatter has blasted the Guerin report for ‘completely failing to follow fair procedure’. He said Guerin was wrong, and that he did listen to the whistleblower’s allegations. Here’s his speech in full.

2. #LETTER Fianna Fáil justice spokesperson Niall Collins said he sent a letter to a judge about a convicted drug dealer to inform him that the mother of the accused’s four children had died by suicide. Collins has been heavily criticised for the decision.

3. #CHARITY A report into the Central Remedial Clinic’s finances said that the CRC set up its charitable arm for the sole purpose of making sure it got as much money as possible from the HSE. It recommends that the Friends and Supporters of the CRC be wound up.

4. #BUSINESS Dunnes Stores has suffered a legal blow: the European Court of Justice has sided with fashion designer Karen Millen in a dispute over a shirt and top. In essence, the court ruled that designs don’t need to be specifically registered to benefit from legal protection.

5. #DATALINK A Canadian court has ordered Google to remove links relating to a company called Datalink. The case involves an industrial manufacturer, Equustek, which claimed Datalink ripped off its network device technology and sold it online through 300 websites – and wants Google to remove all searches that link to the sites.
