1. #CHECKS: The HSE is to start sending underage teenagers to tanning shops to see if they can buy sunbed sessions.

2. #MAKE IT A BETTER PLACE: Barack Obama is due to unveil his clean power plan which he says is the biggest and most important step the US has taken to fight climate change.

3. #CATHERINE MURPHY: Denis O’Brien has initiated legal proceedings against a Dáil committee over its finding that Murphy did not abuse Dáil privilege when she made allegations against him, The Irish Times reports.

4. #LOUTH: A man has died and three other people have been taken to hospital after a crash on the M1.

5. #DATA BREACH: Confidential patient files were accidentally emailed to a member of the public for six months, the Irish Examiner reports.

6. #FITZGIBBOON STREET: This inner city garda station appears to be stirring back to life as a new anti-burglary unit has been assigned to it after two years of closure.

7. #PICK EATERS: Research has found that while picky eating is mostly harmless it could signal mental health issues in some children, AP reports.

8. #GET IT TOGETHER: Hospitals have been told they will lose funding if they fail to meet new targets for cutting waiting times, the Irish Independent reports.

9. #POLLUTION: Close to 300 European cities and regions in Europe have signed up to take part in an initiative that will see cars banned for a day. No city in Ireland decided to take part.
