3. #LOUTH: A man in his 30s is due to appear at Dundalk District Court today in connection with a double murder in Louth in 2012.

4. #MENTAL HEALTH: €12 million which had been earmarked for the hiring of 1,500 mental health staff will be spent on vaccinations, home care and transitional beds for people leaving hospital.

9. #COURT: A 32-year-old operations manager, who struck her head on a sign after using an “unorthodox and hazardous” route through a Dublin hotel car park, has seen an award for damages slashed by half in the Circuit Civil Court.
