1. #NICE ATTACK At least 84 people have been killed after a truck ploughed into a crowd celebrating Bastille Day in Nice last night. The driver of the truck, said to be a 31-year-old French-Tunisian man, was killed in a hail of bullets.

2. #NICE ATTACK Witnesses said that they at first thought the truck had lost control, before it ploughed into the crowd. The situation was described as “horrendous” by one onlooker.

3. #NICE ATTACK Irish people in Nice have described their experiences after getting caught up in last night’s terror attack. One man said he had “never seen” such fear. There have been no Irish fatalities reported to date.
