2. #SINAI CRASH: Russian officials have confirmed that last month’s Metrojet plane crash was caused by a bomb.

3. #HOUSING CRISIS: A new report shows rents rose nationwide at the fastest rate since the boom times in the months before the introduction of the government’s rent freeze measures.

4. #REFUGEES: Nearly half of the 50 US states have moved to shut the door on Syrian refugees as Republican governors called for a halt to the resettlement programme.

8. #TERROR THREAT: The Irish Daily Mail reports that a group of 10 suspected jihadis living in Ireland are being “thoroughly profiled” to assess whether they provided any logistical or financial support to the gunmen behind the Paris attacks.
