7. #DAVID CAMERON: The British Prime Minister says he won’t be suing the former friend whose book made allegations about him putting a “private part” in a dead pig’s mouth. He told the Mail he is “too busy” running the country”.

8. #EMPTY HOMES: Fianna Fáil’s Barry Cowen has said a “shocking” number of council houses are empty. Figures obtained by Cowen show there are 2,600 such homes.
