6. #DRUG ABUSE: Almost 600 newborns have been registered as drug addicts since 2008 in Ireland, according to figures seen by the Irish Mirror. The infants can experience seizures, sleeplessness, and vomiting, after being exposed to drugs like heroin when in the womb.

7. #KNOCKED OUT: Formula One driver Jenson Button and his wife were reportedly gassed by burglars who ransacked their home. The Sun reports two ‘experienced criminals pumped’ an anaesthetic gas into the property.

8. #MAYO: A man received leg injuries yesterday after he was struck by the propeller of an out-of-control boat in Clew Bay yesterday evening.

9. #TIME’S UP: North Korea is creating it own time zone, according to state media, with clocks due to be put back by half an hour. This time zone was used before Japan colonised the peninsula in the 1910.
