7. #SACKED: The operator of a train that derailed in Chicago when she fell asleep has been laid off. BBC reports she admitted it was not the first time she dozed off on the job.

8. #DRAMA: Coronation star Barbara Knox, also known as Rita, has been charged with drink driving, The Irish Sun reports.
