2. #POCKET MONEY: There has been a fall in the number of people who say their disposable income has decreased, though it is still falling for 54 per cent of you.

3. #GARDAGATE: Taoiseach Enda Kenny told the Dáil yesterday evening that he has received details of 35 allegations of  garda wrongdoing in the last couple of weeks – some dating back years.

4. #NOT HAPPY: The number of complaints made against front-line staff in social welfare offices has increased six-fold since 2010 but Joan Burton insists her department is committed to delivering a high quality customer service.

5. #REHAB: Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee, John McGuinness said Angela Kerins and Frank Flannery have a two week deadline before their appearance before the committee will be compelled.

6. #SOUTH KOREA: The frantic search for nearly 300 people, most of them schoolchildren, missing after a ferry capsized continues today.

7. #BOOKS: The Minister for Education has announced 400 primary schools are to be offered funding totalling €15 million to provide book rental schemes.

8. #CHILDREN: Child and youth groups have welcomed a new policy for children in Ireland which promises to focus on early intervention and aims to lift 70,000 children out of poverty by 2020.

9. #HEARTBLEED: A 19-year-old in Canada has been arrested in connection to the Heartbleed security breach, BBC reports.
