1. #KIEV CRISIS: Reports suggest that a deal has been reached between opposition leaders and the Ukrainian president after all-night talks aimed at ending the crisis which has seen dozens of police and protesters killed in violent clashes in Kiev.

2. #WHISTLEBLOWER: The Department of Justice has begun an internal review of all correspondence related to claims made by a whistleblower about garda mistakes and cover-ups in  major investigations, the Irish Examiner reports.

3. #EQUALITY: A new poll has found that 76 per cent of people would vote in favour of allowing same-sex couples to marry. Nineteen per cent of respondents in the RTE/SBP/Red C poll were opposed to same-sex marriage while five per cent of respondents were undecided.

4. BACK TO WORK: More than 800 unemployed people are to be given jobs in Dublin’s local authorities under a new scheme which will see people given their dole payment plus €20 a week. Anyone who refuses to work risks having their benefits cut, RTÉ  reports.

5. INQUEST: A 50-year-old west Cork farmer drowned his three-year-old daughter before taking his own life, an inquest into their deaths has heard. The Irish Times reports that Martin McCarthy left a note before walking into the sea near his farm in March of last year.

6. #JOBSWATCH: A total of 132 new jobs have been announced at five companies based in Dublin and Galway this morning. The jobs are spread across IT, cyber security, life sciences and financial services.

7. #CHARGED: A 23-year-old man will appear in court this morning charged in connection with the murder of Christy Daly, whose body was discovered in a drain in Offaly in January.

8. #THE END: The number of married couples seeking an annulment from the Catholic church to end their marriage has fallen by almost 50 per cent in the last decade – from 402 couples to 224 – according to figures obtained by The Irish Catholic.

9. #AWKWARD: Police in Australia searching for a stolen pink diamond worth around €130,000 have x-rayed a British tourist who is suspected to have swallowed it. Ouch.
