Arrival, another Irish movie will also be screened and this is the first time anyone will get to see either movies.

Audience

New to this year’s festival is Choose Your Own Soundtrack movie experiment. Similar to a silent disco, the audience will get a set of headphones and be able to chose from several soundtracks throughout the movie, depending on the mood they think is in each scene.

So who does this festival appeal to?

Speaking to TheJournal.ie, one of the festival organisers Martin O’Donohue said “the festival is really for anyone who is into extreme sports or any sports really. The movies are about people who are top of their game in their sports field. The photography is amazing also. There are some great Irish films too, but also ones from further afield.”

The festival kicks off tonight in Dublin at the Sugar Club and then moves on to Castlebar on the 21 November at the Linen Hall Theatre and Galway on the 30 November at An Taibhdhearc.
