Witness appeal

Appeal for witnesses to crash which killed Cork pedestrian

Regina Kennedy died after being hit by a car in Douglas earlier this month.

GARDAÍ HAVE MADE a further appeal for witnesses to the crash which killed a pedestrian in Cork earlier this month.

Regina Kennedy, 37, died after being hit by a car at Carrshill in Douglas Co Cork at around 2.20am on 14 November.

The victim was from Blarney Street in Cork and formerly of Edgeworthstown in County Longford.

Gardaí have appealed for any taxi drivers or hackney drivers who may have picked up a female on Patrick Street in Cork city between 1.30am and 2.15am on the night and taken her to Kilbrody, Mount Oval Estate in Douglas to contact them.
