Army bomb disposal unit on the scene as device found in Clondalkin estate

The device was found in the front garden of a house in the Clondalkin area of Dublin earlier this morning.

GARDAÍ HAVE CONFIRMED that a suspicious device has been found in the garden of a house in Clondalkin in Dublin this morning.

The device was found in the front garden of a house in the Rowlagh Gardens estate in Ronanstown, Clondalkin, Co Dublin at around 10.20am this morning.

The house was evacuated and the scene was cordoned off.

An army bomb disposal unit has been notified and a spokesperson for the Irish Defence Forces confirmed to TheJournal.ie that they are on the scene.
