Four boys aged 12 to 17 charged with murder at McDonald's near Manchester

The charges follow the death of a man in his 40s.

The charges follow the death of a man in his 40s.

The man was assaulted on Warrington Street in Ashton-under-Lyne in Tameside, Greater Manchester shortly before 10.50pm on Wednesday night.

Police were called to the scene of the assault at a McDonald’s and the man was taken to hospital. However, he later died of his injuries.

Four boys aged 12, 16, 16, and 17 were arrested during the week and have been charged today to appear in Oldham Magistrates Court.
