EARLIER IN THE week 4FM’s The Niall Boylan Show carried out a social experiment that involved sending one of its reporters out onto the street to cat-call at people.
During the piece the reporter, Robbie Kane, shouted things like “you’ve got a lovely arse”, before apologising to the men and women involved and asking for their reaction.
Those asked on the street were generally positive about the activity but the segment received a heavy backlash on social media.
The station has stood by the segment and issued a statement saying that all of the women and men involved took it in good humour and none of them were offended.
But what do you think? Is cat-calling as part of a social experiment ok?
