A MAN IN his 30s has been shot at a Dublin housing estate this afternoon.
The victim, aged 32, was shot in the back as he was leaving his house in Belcamp Grove, Priorswood in Coolock at about 3.45pm.
Witnesses say there were children playing on the road at the time of the incident.
The shooter was travelling on a bicycle and carrying a shotgun. He was wearing a hooded top and came from the direction of the Link road. Gardaí said he “made good his escape”.
The victim’s injuries have been described as not life threatening. He is being treated at Beaumont Hospital.
