Appeal for witnesses after man stabbed in the neck in Belfast

The identity of the attacker is as yet unknown.

A MAN IS in a serious condition in hospital after being stabbed in the neck in the Ballymacarret area of Belfast last night.

The assault happened shortly after 10.15 pm at Castlereagh Road and Euston Parade when the 27-year-old was assaulted by another man according to police.

The victim was was taken to a nearby hospital for his injuries with his condition is described as serious but stable.

The identity of the attacker is as yet unknown and detectives are appealing to anyone with any information about the incident to contact them at Musgrave Street station.
