Woman finds petrol bomb on her front doorstep in west Belfast

When the PSNI were called they also found “the burning remains of a number of suspected petrol bombs” at the front of her house.

A WOMAN IN west Belfast heard a number of loud noises outside her home in west Belfast last night. When she went to find out where the noises were coming from, she found a petrol bomb on her front doorstep.

The police in Northern Ireland were called and they also discovered “the burning remains of a number of suspected petrol bombs” outside her home.

No damage was caused to the property in the Kells Avenue area and there were no reports of any injuries.

Police in west Belfast are appealing for information following the incident that happened at around 11pm last night.

An investigation is underway and police would ask anyone with any information to contact them at Woodbourne on 00 44 845 600 8000.
