Body of woman in her 60s found in Waterford house

The discovery was made by the fire brigade this evening.

THE BODY OF a woman in her early 60′s has been found in a house in Waterford city.

The discovery was made by the Fire Brigade at around 6pm this evening at a house at Killure Grove, St John’s Park, Waterford City.

Gardaí say they’re investigating all of the circumstances.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene and was taken to Waterford General Hospital.

A post-mortem will take place tomorrow afternoon.

The area has been sealed off for a technical examination.
