Gardaí say the body of a man in his 60s was found earlier today. The incident is not linked to the murders in Bandon earlier this week.

Gardaí say the incident is not linked to the two bodies that were recovered from the River Bandon earlier this week.

The body found today was of a man in his 60s.

Gardaí believe that he died by suicide.

Investigations are ongoing.
