@Naes Teenagers drink in derelict houses and younger kids sometimes play in them. 2 kids were killed in Tallaght 10 years ago when somebody set fire to the hut they had built in an alley between a house and a derelict shop. Other kids were always playing in that same run down shop. I was simply making the point that a child could have picked one up as was the case in Wicklow last year.

Typical Dundalk? Define typical? It’s a completely different compared to 20 years ago. More of these devices tend to be found in other major urban areas, particularly Dublin, given many recent media reports.

You don’t seem to know much either Vincent, this is very typical of Dundalk. And the remark about it being a rough spot was on the money too. It’s a kip of a town.
