Book of condolences to be opened for Brian Lenihan at Government buildings

The book will be available tomorrow for members of the public between 9am and 6pm at Government Buildings on Merrion Street in Dublin.

THE TAOISEACH ENDA Kenny has this evening requested that a book of condolence be opened for the late Brian Lenihan tomorrow, Monday 13 June.

The former Minister for Finance died on Friday following a long battle with cancer. He was 52.

His remains will lie in repose from 10am tomorrow at Jennings Funeral Home in Blanchardstown in west Dublin before a removal that evening to St Mochta’s Church in Porterstown, arriving at 6pm.

The funeral will take place on Tuesday morning at 11am and Lenihan will be laid to rest afterwards in a private burial in St David’s graveyard, Kilsallaghan.

Tomorrow, the book of condolences will be available for members of the public between 9am and 6pm at Government Buildings on Merrion Street in Dublin.
