Man hospitalised after suspected shooting in Bray

The man was found injured in People’s Park this afternoon.

A MAN IN his mid-20s has been taken to hospital following a suspected shooting in Bray, Co. Wicklow this evening.

The man was discovered in The People’s Park in Bray by a member of the public at about 5.30pm this afternoon.

They then contacted emergency services and the man was taken to St. Vincent’s Hospital where his injuries were described as non-life threatening.

The scene has been preserved for technical examination and investigations are ongoing.

Anyone with information, particularly those in the vicinity of the The People’s Park between 5pm and 6.30pm this evening are being asked to contact Bray Garda Station.
