Masked men steal large quantity of jewellery in Belfast burglary

The 61-year-old woman in the house at the time was uninjured but was left shaken.

DETECTIVES IN BELFAST are appealing for information following an aggravated burglary that occurred on Monday evening.

The incident occurred in the Deramore Drive area at approximately 9.50pm on Monday. Three masked men entered a house armed with a machete and a suspected firearm and took a large amount of jewellery.

The 61-year-old female resident of the house was uninjured in the incident but was left shaken, police said today.
