Dilemma

The burning question: Butter or margarine on your toast?

It’s Monday, so let TheJournal.ie distract you from the ‘serious’ news with one of life’s REAL dilemmas. (*not really)

WE KNOW HOW you feel. It’s Monday, you have the whole week looming ahead, and you have a lot on your plate.

So do like we do here in TheJournal.ie HQ and get stuck into a serious debate on one of life’s most pressing issues.

Possibly.

This week: There are times during the day when nothing can beat a good sandwich/hot slice of toast/scone (insert the bread-based carb of your choice here).

But once you’ve got the essentials sorted, what do you use to butter it?

The old classic of… well, butter? With its milky goodness and devil-may-care approach to fat? Or are you more of a margarine person? Hell, can you even tell the difference between the two?
