Dilemma

The Burning Question*: Do you tip in the hairdressers?

It’s Monday, so let TheJournal.ie distract you from the ‘serious’ news with one of life’s REAL dilemmas. (*not really)

WE KNOW HOW you feel. It’s Monday, you have the whole week looming ahead, and you have a lot on your plate.

So do like we do here in TheJournal.ie HQ and get stuck into a serious debate on one of life’s most pressing issues.

Possibly.

This week: Reader Susan Kearns sent us this dilemma last week and it had us all nodding in agreement. When you’ve just paid approximately a zillion euro to get your hair trimmed by three milimetres, the common practice is to tip the hairdresser or barber a bit extra. It’s all a bit Irish isn’t it? What do you think? Mad or fair?

Vote here: Do you tip in the hairdressers?

Poll Results:

Sometimes, if I'm feeling lucky (2913)
Never, I just paid approx. 567 euro to get my hair dyed (2414)
Always, I'm not a scab (1408)
