Open Thread: Can Conor McGregor gain revenge on Nate Diaz?

The Irishman goes head-to-head with Diaz at UFC 202.

IN THE EARLY hours of Sunday morning, Conor McGregor will step into the octagon with Nate Diaz in an attempt to avenge his only UFC loss to date.

On the night, McGregor fought as if he was still at featherweight, completely disregarding the need for any defensive nous believing that Diaz would succumb to his punching power like Jose Aldo and Chad Mendes before him.

However, the California native wasn’t having any of it and his more measured approach paid dividends when he applied a choke on the Irish fighter in the second round, forcing him to submit.

But, what we want to know today is, can McGregor bounce back from that loss and take victory at UFC 202?

Let us know why in the comments section below.
