Woman hospitalised after crash between garda van and car in Waterford

The incident has been referred to Gsoc.

A WOMAN HAS been hospitalised after the car she was travelling in collided with a garda van in Waterford city.

The incident occurred on Gracedieu Road shortly after 2am this morning.

The driver of car involved in the incident – a woman in her 30s – was taken to Waterford University Hospital following the collision.

No members of An Garda Síochána were injured in the incident.

The collision has been referred to Gsoc (Garda Síochána Ombudsman Commission).
