Certus to create 50 new Dublin jobs

The firm which was set up to handle the loan book of Bank of Scotland (Ireland) is hiring.

CERTUS, A COMPANY which manages the debt and loan portfolios of Irish financial institutions, has announced it is to create 50 new jobs.

The firm was initially set up to handle the loan book of Bank of Scotland (Ireland) but now says it is ready to expand its client base.

The recruitment drive has already started and prospective applicants can apply online through the Certus website.

The majority of the new positions in retail debt management and collections will be based at the company’s head office on St Stephen’s Green in Dublin. There will also be some jobs in commercial banking and operations.

Chief executive Joe Higgins said, “The opportunity for Certus to broaden our customer base grows as financial institutions in Ireland reduce their balance sheets and comply with new regulation on how they deal with customers in debt, particularly consumers.”

Certus currently employs 800 people.
