Short on cash? We have put together a list of ten great places to get a filling lunch in Dublin for around a fiver.

FULL DISCLOSURE: SOME of these lunches are *exactly* €5. But the point is, you can walk into all these places clutching a crisp fiver and emerge with a satisfying meal – usually plus change.

1. Oxmantown

Their salad boxes are only €5, and their soups are just €3.50. Menu here

You can get their scrambled eggs, avocado on toast, falafel wrap or soup for just €5. Menu here

3. Burritos & Blues

You can get the Diet Burrito in Burritos & Blues every day for €4.15. On Mondays you can buy any burrito on the menu for just €5. You could also get salsa fries for just €3.75. Menu here

4. Ray’s Pizza
