Three children, two adults hospitalised after Dublin flat fire

The five people in the apartment at the time were treated for smoke inhalation.

FIVE PEOPLE HAVE been hospitalised in a fire in a Dublin apartment in the early hours of this morning.

The fire took place in a ground floor flat on the South Circular Road at the junction of Washington Street at 2.30am

A spokesperson for the Dublin Fire Brigade told TheJournal.ie that three children and two adults who were in the property at the time were taken to hospital for smoke inhalation.

It is not thought that any of the people in the flat at the time had serious injuries. The children were taken to Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital in Crumlin.
