In photos: Chinese astronauts crash land after almost two weeks in space

The three astronauts landed safely in Inner Mongolia yesterday.

THEY’VE MISSED SOME of the best games in the Euros, the handshake between Martin McGuinness and the Queen and – of course – the news that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are to divorce.

However the three Chinese astronauts aboard China’s fourth manned mission into space are probably just glad to be home.

The re-entry capsule containing the three astronauts landed safely in Inner Mongolia yesterday after spending almost two weeks in space. During the mission the astronauts successfully docked with an orbiting lab, in a move that was seen as a big step toward’s China’s aim to build a space station by 2020.
