Open thread: what books are on your Christmas reading list?

Are you one of the 404,000 people who has already bought and read 50 Shades of Grey?

COSYING UP TO the Christmas tree with a good book and some sweet treats is a favourite pastime for many during the holiday season.

The literary year has belonged to EL James and her Fifty Shades of Grey series but a number of recently-released autobiographies from Olympians and other household names have been wrapped and readied as Christmas gifts.
