Dublin is getting a new cinema and 65 new jobs

Odeon are opening in Finglas.

A CINEMA WHICH has been planned for three years will open in Finglas in Dublin next month.

The Odeon cinema in Charlestown will open on 16 October, bringing 65 new jobs to the area.

That will bring the company’s staff in Ireland to 440 in 11 outlets.

The cinema will feature nine screens, one of which will house the company’s massive iSense screen.

It will be joined in the shopping centre by Starbucks, Leisureplex and TGI Fridays in the coming months.

Douglas Brennan, Brand Manager of ODEON cinemas Ireland said,

“We’re very excited to be a new part of the Finglas community, and are delighted to have 65 new colleagues joining our team.

“Our new cinema is looking and sounding fantastic, and we are looking forward to welcoming everyone in Finglas as they join us.”
