Man and woman appear in court in connection with Clondalkin drugs seizure

The pair were arrested in the wake of a seizure by gardaí of €470,000 worth of drugs and cash yesterday.

A MAN AND a woman, aged in their 30s and 20s respectively, have appeared at Blanchardstown District Court charged with drugs offences.

The two, along with another man in his 20s, were arrested in the wake of a seizure of drugs in Clondalkin, west Dublin, yesterday.

Officers from the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Unit seized drugs with an approximate street value of €470,000 during the raid.

The drugs seized were cannabis herb, a small quantity of cannabis resin, a small amount of cocaine, and a sum of cash.

The man in his 20s was released last night and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
