Car collides with pedestrian near Heuston Station

Delays are expected inbound in the area due to the closure of St John’s Road West

GARDAÍ HAVE CLOSED off a stretch of road near Heuston Station in Dublin after a pedestrian was injured in a serious collision.

A car collided with the pedestrian near the train station, leading gardaí to close the N4 – St John’s Road West to inbound traffic.

Gardaí and emergency services are at the scene. The incident occured before 2pm today.

There are notable delays on the N4 coming from the M50 inbound and traffic is being diverted in the area.

Forensic collision investigators are examining the scene and the pedestrian has been taken to hospital.
