A MAN WHO was critically injured following an altercation outside a Cork pub has died.
Gardaà investigating the serious assault that occurred at 12.55AM on 22 September at a pub on Avenue De Rennes, Mahon, Cork, confirmed that a man named Pat Deasy was pronounced dead this afternoon at University Hospital Cork.
Gardaà are continuing to appeal for witnesses to an altercation that took place outside the Red Cove Inn in Mahon in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The office of the State Pathologist has been notified and investigations are on-going. Gardaà say they have no indication at this stage as to the time of the post mortem.
