Investigation after garda car involved in Cork city crash

Both gardaí have since been released from hospital.

AN INVESTIGATION IS underway after a garda car was involved in a two car crash in Cork city last night.

It happened on the Commons Road at around 9pm.

Two male gardaí were in the garda car and a male driver was alone in the other car.

All three were taken to Cork University Hospital following the crash and received treatment for their injuries.

Both gardaí have since been released from hospital.

The matter is now under investigation.
