Man due in court over €100k cocaine & cannabis haul

A woman also arrested as part of yesterday’s operation has been released.

A MAN IN his 30s is due before court in Cork this morning in connection with yesterday’s €100,000 seizure of cocaine and cannabis.

The drugs were found after gardaí attached to the Cork City Divisional Drugs Unit searched a car at Main Street, Glenville.

A woman also arrested as part of the operation was released overnight, with a file to be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Both were questioned under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act at Mayfield Garda Station.

The man is listed to go before Cork District Court at 10.30am.
