Charged

30-year-old charged over Cork pub shooting

A 35-year-old man was injured in the shooting which occurred last weekend.

GARDAÍ HAVE CHARGED a 30-year-old man in connection with a shooting at a a pub in Cork last weekend.

The incident occurred on the evening of 3 August at the White Country Inn in Banteer. A 35-year-old man was injured in the shooting.

This morning gardaí confirmed that a 30-year-old who was arrested in connection with the incident appeared before a special sitting of Mallow District Court on Saturday evening.

He was remanded on bail to appear before the court again on 9 September.
